Oh HTC. This company had a pretty rough year in 2015. The One M9 was one of a handful of phones which were somewhat burned by performance concerns over Qualcomm’s snapdragon 810 chipset. No one seemed much interested in a phone with inconsistent performance which would run hot to the touch. Consumers wandered, and HTC lost market share.
The response for 2016 was a fresh take on refining the aspects of HTC products we have all liked in the past. The HTC 10 arrived as a counterpoint to the Samsung / Apple duopoly, waging battle against LG for market share. In our early reviews we were very impressed by this handset.
Now six months later, our HTC 10 has faced some pretty rough use, and it’s time to see how well it’s survived. Does the HTC 10 still stand as a viable option for folks closing out 2016? Let’s take a look (and a listen) in our long term review!
